Size: Medium (Height: 25-40'; Spread: 20').
Growth: Moderate.
Foliage: Dark green, glossy, wavy-edged, narrow leaves, 3-6" long.
Flower: White flowers in 3" clusters bloom in cycles throughout the year.
Fruit: Orange berries, 1/2" across, form in fall and drop in winter.
Bark: Smooth, gray bark.
Monthly Watering Needs: 15-20 gallons per week for the first 2 years; 15-20 gallons twice a month for the 3rd year; as needed after 3 years (varies by soil, sun, and wind conditions).
Tree Care: Moderate. Early pruning needed to train a good shape; pruning needed less frequently with age. Do not prune central leader. Requires sidewalk clean-up during flower and fruit drop.
Tolerances: Drought (once established), sandy or clay soil, gusty or cold winds, fog, smog. Sun or shade.
Special Considerations: Prefers sun, warmth, and good drainage. Flowers and berries can cause stickiness on paving. Subject to availability.
