Tree Tributes

When you contribute $50 to Friends of the Urban Forest, you can designate that gift for a Tree Tribute. We will send an email on your behalf to whomever you indicate. Or, if you'd like, you can have us mail a card.

We are not able to mark or otherwise identify which specific trees are part of the Tree Tribute program. Friends of the Urban Forest and neighborhood residents throughout San Francisco plant trees many weekends each year. We invite you to join us in a tree planting.

Donate

I donate trees to the San Francisco Friends of the Urban Forest as wedding presents and in celebrations of births. I also donate trees in loving memory of friends who have died. Often I ask myself, ‘what will the world be like for generations to come?’ If we can plant a tree for those who have passed and those who are newly born, we might be able to maintain a green globe for younger generations." — Su-Chen Hung
